Nearby our campground is the St. Mary’s River, and the Mark’s Bay Conservation Area, which has a 3km long sandy waterfront, including some areas perfect for swimming.

Waterfront access is provided via a 20 minute hike, or via a short car ride to the Conservation Area public boat launch and beach.

Day trips in the car can also bring you to many sandy beaches perfect for swimming along the Lake Superior shoreline, including Haviland Bay, Harmony Bay, Batchewana Bay, Pancake Bay and more.
